Kallandra
&
Arnold

Joyfully invite you to their wedding celebration
July 12, 2025

Our Story
Kallandra and Arnold officially met each other on July 2, 2023. Prior to that, they had been chatting (and flirting) with each other for a week on Bumble. They shared such an unforgettable first date at Block 1912 that they planned all their dates for the rest of the week in one sitting! By the second date, they were already falling in love! By the third date, Arnold had created an entire list of terms and agreements they were to follow if they were to be in a relationship together (was he crazy???). And by the fourth date, Arnold had decided to bandwagon on Kallandra’s solo trip to Paris (yes, he really was crazy!!!). Before three months had passed, Arnold was already hinting at proposing because he was that in love with Kallandra, and she felt the exact same way. Two lovebirds who wanted nothing more than to share a life together, and now it’s finally happening. They’re very excited to share their special day with you!

Get To Know Our Bridal Party
Sam Friesenhan, Maid of Honour: Kallandra and Sam have been best friends for over 10 years. They met in high school where they had multiple classes together. They lost contact for a few years but reconnected and volunteered at the Fringe Festival together. Since then, they regularly see each other to discuss their favourite books, plan trips, and activities for the future.

George Quiddaoen, Officiant: George is Arnold’s brother and will be the officiant for their wedding. Arnold has always been there for George as his loving big brother, and George regularly comes to Arnold for advice. George is the sweetest younger brother Arnold could have ever asked for, as he has surprised him on multiple occasions such as visiting from Vancouver on Arnold’s birthday and on Canada Day. He also has a very close relationship with Kallandra, and regularly “spills the tea” to both of them!
Lucas Chen, Best Man: Lucas has been Arnold’s best friend of 10 years. They met while working together at Costco and have been close ever since. They share a love of cars, hotpot, video games, and all things Costco together, particularly the tire centre! Lucas has been there for Arnold since day one, and has seen him through his most difficult of times. Lucas will be coming all the way from Vancouver to be the best man on this momentous occasion.

Eric Sun: They say good friends can be found in the most unusual of places, which is exactly where Arnold met his friend Eric: at the Meadows Community Ice Rink. Arnold was enjoying a morning skate one day when he decided to strike up a conversation with Eric about his awesome execution of the hockey stop. Ever since then, they have bonded over hockey, sports, being bad asian drivers, delicious asian food, and have been friends ever since.
